Sailing To Bermuda
Words & Music by Duncan Wells
We were sailing on a ship to Bermuda
the captain said the weather would be fine
as soon as it was said we started dancing on the deck
Mary, Tom and Arthur
Mike, and Mikey's younger brother,
Sylvia, Samantha, Sue and I
Aye! Aye!
Sylvia she wasn't feeling very good the first day
Mary called the doctor who opened up the doctor bag
took her pulse and temperature
let her keep the tongue depressor
call me in the morning you'll be feeling OK
We were sailing on a ship to Bermuda
the captain said the weather would be fine
as soon as it was said we started dancing on the deck
Mary, Tom and Arthur
Mike, and Mikey's younger brother,
Sylvia, Samantha, Sue and I
Aye! Aye!
Mikey's younger brother started wandering off alone
Samantha, Sue and I were trying to find out where he'd gone
we checked the bow, we checked the stern
then overboard we looked to learn
he jumped into the ocean, thank God he didn't drown!

the captain said the weather would be fine

Mike, and Mikey's younger brother,
Sylvia, Samantha, Sue and I
Aye! Aye!
Tom and Arthur spotted land Friday 6 O'clock
the ship was going full ahead, about to hit the dock
we braced ourselves for quite a bang
Samantha, Sue and all the gang
shouted Hal-ah-loo-ya! We were finally there.
