Duncan Wells is an award winning playwright, songwriter and recording artist.
He is an East Coast Music Award winner who has performed for children throughout
the Atlantic Provinces for more than 25 years. He has released three full length
recordings of original songs for children, and his songs have been performed by
a variety of notable Canadian recording artists, including Rita MacNeil,
Patricia Conroy, and The Cape Breton Summertime Revue.
This section of Duncan's website is specifically designed to introduce
parents and teachers to his music. All songs at this site were written by Duncan
Wells. They are fun, uptempo, and perfectly suited toward entertaining and
educating children on a variety of levels
The Love & Safety Club for children has been a project of Duncan's since
1998. It began with a collection of safety education songs but soon became an
in-class safety education tool for teachers in Canada and the United States. By
